Effective designs incorporate many elements, such as color, typography and imagery. The works that designers create have to catch the viewer’s attention in a matter of seconds. Appearance is everything. I have traveled the United States capturing quality imagery for the past 25 years. This page displays just a small handful of images. Landscape & Wildlife
My first love in photography falls under the category of landscape and wildlife. There are some great images to be captured right outside my back door here in New Hampshire. By contrast, the Southwest United States has many dramatic geological features along with an abundance of wildlife and is where I have spent the majority of my time taking photos. My travels have taken me from Massachusetts to California. I have visited a large number of National Parks including, Yellowstone, Bryce Canyon, Zion, Arches and The Everglades. I have work currently on display at the ranger station for the Salinas Pueblo Missions National Monument.
More recently, I have taken an interest in photographing “community”. I am an elected official on multiple boards in my home town and have been working on community development for the last six years. I have chronicled some of the events we have put on in town in an effort to gain buy in from the residents as we move forward with our community development goals. Most notably, has been my involvement with creating the Hinsdale Farmers Market and organizing our Complete Streets program through my role in the Hinsdale Planning Board. My work will also be featured on the redesign of the town of Hinsdale New Hampshire’s website, which I am currently consulting on. Additionally I have several photo credits in the 2017 town report for Hinsdale NH. I have also created several commemorative post cards for the U.S. Postal Service.
